I have been going to several different Counsellor over the years and didn’t get any satisfaction with any until I went to Legacy Counselling.
This is the very first time in my life that I am feeling good about myself and feeling like this is working. The counsellor I see always makes me feel like she really truly cares and works hard for me. In the past with other therapists it felt more rehearsed or they read straight from a book. Whereas here at Legacy you feel more like your part of a family.
The counselling I have received from Legacy has been invaluable to me. As well as having to deal with the effects of the 2016 fire and evacuation, I had serious problems in a major relationship revealed at the time, and they are ongoing. My counsellor has given me excellent support, and my life would have been a great deal more stressful without it. I don’t know what I would have done without this service.
This has been a very difficult year for everyone. For me, it’s been my health, my child, and my financial situation. I thought that things could not get any worst, yet along comes with Covid 19. Counselling at LCC provided me with a place to process all of the stressful feelings that arose from these situations into my life. I have learned to take it one day at a time, even in these uncertain times. My counsellor at LCC is my angel, looking after me. Thank-you
